I will help you fill in the request for a new ID card. It is a simple process.

Documents you will need at the end:

  • The request for issuing the identity document (generated here)
  • Your old identity document (if you still have it)
  • Birth certificate (original)
  • Marriage certificate / divorce decision (as applicable, original)
  • The document proving your home address (e.g. land book extract, sale contract, premises document)
  • Receipt for the cost of the identity card (7 RON ≈ €1.31)

How to submitIn person, at the counter. You must be there in person for your photo and signature.
NoteSome offices require an online appointment beforehand.

Privacy: your data is not sent anywhere. What you type stays in your browser and is kept only while you fill in the form; it is deleted when you generate the request or choose “No, delete”.
